Wes and I enjoyed a fun, if short, trip to beautiful Scotland. It was just over a week so we stuck mostly to the North. We flew in and out of Inverness, made a quick run down to Loch Lomond, then up the West coast to Skye, stopping to see as many castles as time allowed along the way.
I was most impressed with all of the waterfalls, the lochs, and pretty much everything in Skye. We had some good food, tasted a few peaty scotches, and walked and drove around avoiding the tour buses as much as possible.
We were happy to catch some traditional music Sunday afternoon, had some excellent food and pet a pup, then met a lovely couple, Anne and Dave, at dinner on Monday, all of this at the Edinbane Inn.
I'll be posting more pictures as I slowly make my way through my memory cards. It will require patience not to do all at once, but tis also the season for Senior and family portraits, and I plant to continue the interview project which only got started a few months before the trip.
