From time to time, it's nice to shine a light on other creators in our community. During difficult times, art, and anything that creates beauty and wonder are necessary balms for the human spirit.I am lucky to have people in my life who support other artists. One such person is Will Leathem. I remember in the very early days of Prospero's Books there being after hours poetry readings and music. Years later, Prospero's is where I first found the local traditional Irish music scene, which has become an important community to me. A fine writer himself, Will has helped many local writers self-publish. Currently, he is producing a zine that shares a little bit of this and a little bit of that from local artists of all sorts.I am excited to be one of the featured artists in the upcoming weekly digital edition of Orphan-age, with a tip of the hat to things Irish on this St. Paddy's week in March. I am thankful. Give this week's issue a look, and if you like it and can't wait until next week, you can check out the back issues. Little nugets of artistic refreshment, just enough to build up your spirit during the week. Whenever you are needing an infusion creativity, the Orphan-age has you covered. https://www.theorphan-age.com
